Over 50 of Liverpool's creative venues stay open late for Long Night. It's a chance to meet up with family and friends to explore the rich patchwork of cultural events that Liverpool has to offer, all in one night. A vibrant mix of exhibitions, performance, tours, walks and much more.
Hope street hotel is tickled pink to host Matthew Moore and Emily Lansley.
'Adopt a Lamp' From 4pm till midnight there will be a unique installation 'illuminating the darkness' will light the window of The Bookroom. Members of the public can adopt one of these unique lamps created by Mathew Moore. To win one of the lamps, call into reception and leave your details, winners will be drawn at random at the end of the Liverpool design festival.
'Emily Lansley - Illustration' Through her interest in Outsider Art and storytelling, Emily has created a world called The Forest, a place where anything can exist. This world is constantly growing and expanding, filling the viewer with excitement and inspiration. This Exhibition shows new and existing work, continuing the story of the forest and its many realms and characters. Some of the illustrations feature handwritten messages to give further depth and meaning to the work. The exhibition will be in the foyer and Bookroom of the Hotel.
