‘If you only see Flamenco once in your life, make it this' Independent On Sunday
Paco Peña has thrilled audiences for many years with his masterful flamenco performances, famed for their passion and authenticity. The legendary flamenco guitarist returns to Liverpool Philharmonic with his brand new show Flamenco sin Fronteras.
Delving into an often overlooked period of flamenco history, Paco Peña explores the music and the many dance styles that emerged through the migration of Spanish performers to Latin America in the early 1900s, and their significant impact on flamenco today.
The show features four dancers from Peña's own company, a guest dancer from Venezuela and 12 virtuoso musicians and singers performing live on stage. Audiences will be taken on a journey right to the heart of Latin America, packed with all the intensity, depth and raw energy that have become this maestro's trademark.
Stay at Hope Street Hotel in a King Standard room with breakfast and two tickets for the performance for just £145. To book please click here.
