70th anniversary of the Battle of Atlantic Commemorations
Sat 25 May until Tue 28 May 2013 - The waterfront and city centre will come alive with all things naval. There will be a veterans parade, a special band concert by Her Majesty’s Royal Marines at the Philharmonic Hall, a 40s themed party at St George’s Hall, a fly past and a James Bond style display involving the Royal Marines, exhibitions, warships and bomb disposal displays.
25 Years of Making History
Fri 31 May until Sun 2nd June 2013 - Marking 25 years since the completion of the regeneration of the Albert Dock and the opening of Tate Liverpool, Liverpool’s most visited tourist attraction is offering three days of entertainment and fun.
Mersey River Festival & Music On The Waterfront
Fri 7 June until Sun 9 June 2013 - Expect a musical and maritime experience for all the family, as the hugely popular Music on the Waterfront and Mersey River Festival return for the final weekend. Watch as the unique World Heritage site is transformed with home grown talent and household names performing on the outdoor stage in front of the Liver Building and as Tall Ships and historic vessels line the waterfront.
