Hope Street Hotel, has two delicious restaurants - The London Carriage Works and 1931. 

The London Carriage Works serves modern British dishes, complemented by the use of local, fresh and seasonal produce. Award-winning for both food and wine, the restaurant is one of Liverpool's renowned dining destinations, enjoying rave reviews and critical acclaim. 

The building, built in the 1860s, was once the warehouse of a coach and carriage builders. It was built in the architectural fashion of the day – the elegant facade of a Venetian palazzo. During renovation the original name – The London Carriage Works – was discovered carved in the stone lintel above the front door and kept out of respect for the building’s history.

1931 serves pizza, pasta, salads and sharing boards - enjoy the open kitchen and watch your order being prepared by our Head Chef, Vijay. 1931 takes inspiration from the trade routes that came through Liverpool in 1931, alongside some of our own favourite travels. It may be an international menu, but all of our delicious ingredients come from local suppliers.

For Hope Street Hotel guests, a full English and continental breakfast is served in our restaurant 1931, and we have 24-hour room service for everything from breakfast to late night snacks.
