Lunchtime treat

Prix fixe two course lunch. Beautifully presented, the pan fried sea bass was delicious, the butternut squash, fig tatin and goats curd a lovely melding of flavours. The beef cheek was tender, the chicken tasty. One down side, we didn't have room for dessert! Thank you to Lydia for attentive but not intrusive service!

Pleasant, helpful service. Original, creative dishes with focus on taste. The combination of the two kinds of lamb was delicious. Portion sizes just right. Top marks to chef and all the staff.

Built in the 1860's in the architectural fashion of the day - the elegant Venetian palazzo - The London Carriage Works was once the warehouse of a coach and carriage builders. During renovation the original name was discovered carved in the stone lintel above the front door and kept out of respect for the building’s history.
