The London Carriage Works is an award-winning restaurant serving modern British dishes using local, fresh and seasonal produce.
Opening in 2003 The London Carriage Works quickly established itself as one of Liverpool’s leading restaurants, enjoying rave reviews and critical acclaim.
Seasonal ingredients take the spotlight in our à la carte menu which changes four times a year, while our prix fixe menu changes daily. Afternoon tea - made by our patisserie chefs - is served everyday, as is our wine tasting menu featuring a handpicked selection of wines and chef's canapés.
The restaurant bar is a relaxed space serving a full drinks menu of wines, beers, cocktails, soft and hot drinks, as well as sandwiches, salads and sharing plates until late.
The London Carriage Works was once the warehouse of a coach and carriage builders, built in the 1860's in the architectural fashion of the day - the elegant Venetian palazzo. During renovation, the original name was discovered carved in the stone lintel above the front door and kept out of respect for the building’s history.
