Our QMS Ultimate Collagen Experience package combines prescriptive hydration with gentle self-care.
Your day at
Hope Street Hotel Spa will consist of a 50-minute facial aimed towards rejuvenating and restoring your skin with collagen based products, a two hour thermal journey and a freshly-prepared lunch with a glass of fizz, served in our spa lounge. We will also provide you with a Zookie collagen shot to enjoy with us or to take home.
The QMS Hydration Facial that is included in this package is an anti-aging, skin boosting treatment that targets your skin concerns. Fine lines will be plumped, dead skin cells will be scrubbed and your pores will be toned to leave you feeling rejuvenated and relaxed.
Who or what is ‘QMS’?
QMS are one of only two brands of products that are used during treatments at Hope Street Hotel Spa (the other being Temple Spa). QMS have been selected because of their excellence in quality, offering results that we are proud to deliver.
What to expect from a QMS Hydration Facial
- Cleansing treatments - Your skin will be cleansed with QMS Gentle Cleansing Milk to remove impurities so that your face is a clean canvas for your facial.
- Toner - Your skin will be soothed and neutralised by QMS Hydrating Toner, infused with green coffee seed to get you feeling invigorated.
- Two masks - Your QMS-trained therapist will apply two masks during your treatment, both made with hyaluronic acid and collagen to strengthen your skin. One is light, one is heavy - both boost hydration to maximum levels.
- Moisturiser - Multiple moisturisers that target different areas of the face will be applied by your therapist, from QMS Intensive Eye Cream to their ACE Vitamin Cream. These complement the cleansers, toners and masks to lock in moisture.
- Exfoliation - Your skin will be scrubbed with QMS 7% AHA Active Exfoliant Resurfacing Liquid to refine the appearance of pores and to remove old skin cells. The exfoliation doesn’t stop at the face - when your masks are applied, your therapist will exfoliate your arms and chest with QMS 5% AHA Body Balance Exfoliating Body Foam.
What to expect from a two-hour thermal journey
The spa thermal journey can be enjoyed before or after your treatment based on your preference. We would, however, recommend using it before a QMS facial so that the products used during treatment can soak into your skin.
- Two pools - One for swimming, one for relaxing. Our indoor pool is perfect for gentle laps to stretch out your limbs and get the blood flowing. Enjoy underwater music and our self-activated wall jets if you feel like a good drench. Our outdoor vitality pool provides warmth and comfort with a variety of jets for targeted muscle therapy.
- Tepidarium - Our heated marble beds enclosed in a warm room are the perfect place to dry off after a soak, or just to relax on while you doze, read a book or enjoy a drink. Pop your towel down on the bed for a warming experience.
- Aroma Steam Room - We recommend a 6- 12 minute visit to our steam room in order for you to ingest the aroma of natural steamed oils and to flush out sweat. Sit down on our marble benches and take in the aroma.
- Himalayan Salt Sauna - Relax in the ambient pink glow of our Himalayan salt wall, lying on our soft wooden-panelled benches while you breathe in the gently ion-infused air.
- Herbal Salt Sauna - Do like the Scandinavians and breathe in the spices - you control the intensity of the steam by pouring water over the hot stones.
- Ice Drench - Visiting a spa can be warm work. Cool off by taking a handful of ice, or - if you’re very brave - by standing under our ice bucket and submerging yourself. Ice drenches are fantastic for blood flow and muscle recovery.
- Relaxation beds - Our thermal journey is fitted with beds for lounging on when you want a rest from swimming, steaming and sauna-ing.
Time for lunch
The Ultimate Collagen package includes a one course lunch with a glass of prosecco. This is served in our spa lounge, where you are welcome to stay in your swimwear, flip flops and robes. Your food is freshly prepared to order in the kitchen of our restaurant 1931. We offer a range of options for all dietary requirements. You may have your lunch before or after your thermal journey, but not before your treatment to allow for digestion.
As part of this package you will be provided with a sachet of Zookie liquid collagen. This can be added to a drink in the spa, or enjoyed at home. Zookie liquid collagen reduces pigmentation, plumps fine lines and makes your skin glow - the perfect end to a day of boosting and hydrating for your skin.
