The safety and security of our guests and staff remain of paramount importance. In advance of you staying or dining with us we are letting you know the procedures we have put in place.
We have a company COVID policy with new operating guidelines - all staff will be fully trained.

New working practices to safely look after our guests will be implemented. Our teams may wear masks and PPE as required. We have adapted our staff areas and offices so that our teams can practice physical distancing. We will have strict routines of hand washing and sanitising equipment. We have adapted working patterns for our staff to minimise contact and implemented health checks.
We will have thorough cleaning throughout the day, focusing on high contact surfaces, seating, tables and equipment - using COVID-specific anti-viral products.
We have signage for physical distancing in the hotel and restaurant and hand sanitisers have been placed throughout the hotel.
We are keeping all areas airy and fresh with open doors and windows wherever possible.

The London Carriage Works will be open to guests and customers. For the comfort of both we will encourage advanced bookings from guests. Our table layout has been adapted to allow for spacious dining, we ask that you are mindful of physical distancing when arriving and leaving.
You will be able to view our daily menus on the website and if you prefer you may pre-order your menu choices rather than ordering at the table.
The restaurant and kitchen will have additional cleaning routines between service and bookings.
Service for drinks will be table service only.
In an effort to minimise your time at check-in we can email your registration form for you to complete at home.
We can arrange for you to pay for your room using a payment link in advance, let us know if you would prefer this.
We have contactless chip and pin machines which support Apple Pay and Google Pay to pay any value contactless using your mobile. Other contactless card payments will be limited to £45 but you are able to make larger payments as usual by chip and pin method.
Our lifts will be limited to use by one person or one household during your stay. We are allocating rooms carefully to allow as much time as possible between guests. Our housekeepers will have extra time to clean bedrooms. They will be wearing suitable PPE with anti-viral cleaning products, with extra attention given to bathroom fixtures and room amenities. We will place the TV remote controls and room keys into protective covers after sanitising, and glasses and mugs will be machine washed and wrapped. We have removed all printed materials and menus from the desks to keep our surfaces clear. Hotel information and menus can be found on our TV information pages and our website, but remember we are always at the end of the phone.
You have the option for an Express check out - we can email you a copy of your bill in the morning and you can reply to accept charges and leave your key in the room on departure. Otherwise, come and say goodbye and leave your key with reception.
As guidance changes, we will immediately introduce any new measures required by the UK Government.
